We are looking for seasonal and summer workers for the Sein\u00e4joki factory (address: Osmankatu 2, 60320 Sein\u00e4joki) <\/p>\n
We are looking for someone who is energetic and dares to take action. You enjoy working in a team with a supportive and positive attitude, and you are also able to work independently. The duration of summer work is generally 3\u20134 months between May and September, with an emphasis on June and August. Individual needs may arise as early as early spring in March-April and\/or later in the fall. It is important that you state in your application when you can work. Due to occupational health and safety regulations, we require at the Sein\u00e4joki factory to be at least 18 years of age and sufficient Finnish language skills to perform the task. <\/p>\n
We consider it an advantage if you have studies\/degrees related to the position in question or previous experience in industrial production processes. You can also apply for some of the positions without previous experience or training in the field, you will learn the task through our good orientation. Summer work is also suitable for those changing fields. During the summer, you will get a good insight into what interesting career opportunities the food industry can offer. <\/p>\n

Production <\/p>\n
In product manufacturing, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of products manufactured at the Sein\u00e4joki factory and ensure the smooth running of the production process. You will be responsible for reporting and recording in various systems within your area of responsibility, as well as participating in quality control. In product manufacturing tasks, we consider experience in the dairy industry and the manufacturing process to be an advantage, and we hope for training suitable for the task, e.g. in the dairy\/food industry or process technology. <\/p>\n
In product packaging and production control, you will learn how to use different packaging machines. For example, you will be responsible for the entire packaging machine and its aftermarket. In your own role, you will be responsible for product quality, sensory evaluation and entries into systems. When it comes to employment in a variety of product packaging roles, a cheerful and eager-to-learn attitude is more important than education or background knowledge. <\/p>\n
Depending on the workstation, you will work in the 1st and 2nd hygiene areas\/elsewhere in the production process, so you naturally pay attention to cleanliness and order. The tasks require diligence and accuracy. In addition, you must be self-initiative and cooperative. You need good interaction skills, as you will be dealing with different stakeholders on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance, supervisors and process controllers. You will also be able to develop at work, for example by learning about different machines and their use, as well as learning problem-solving skills. <\/p>\n
Stock <\/p>\n
In the warehouse worker summer job, you will get to know the different tasks in the warehouse. The tasks include, among others, collecting and combining loads delivered to our customers. You will become familiar with, among others, the reception and dispatch of goods, temperature and stamp management. For some, driving a forklift is also part of their daily tasks. The task requires initiative, good physical condition, diligence and the ability to work independently. We offer a variety of warehouse tasks. <\/p>\n
Maintenance <\/p>\n
Summer work in maintenance is mostly mechanical and\/or electrical automation installer duties in the maintenance and repair of production equipment. Possibly also involvement in projects. Experience in installation or maintenance work is considered an advantage, but the most essential thing is a good attitude and a desire to learn. The work is mainly done in partnership with a more experienced installer. <\/p>\n
Laboratory <\/p>\n
The Sein\u00e4joki Regional Laboratory performs quality assurance analytics for the Sein\u00e4joki and Haapavesi production plants. Quality assurance is performed in the chemistry and microbiology laboratories. In addition, the Sein\u00e4joki Regional Laboratory produces analytics serving producers in the milk, feed and mastitis laboratories. <\/p>\n
Cleaning <\/p>\n
In the summer jobs as a cleaner, you will learn maintenance and basic cleaning. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of office, social and production facilities in the departments. You will work in hygiene areas 1 and 2. The job requires independence, diligence and accuracy. You need good interaction skills and a brisk attitude, as you will be dealing with different stakeholders on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance, production personnel and users of the facilities. On the job, you will also learn to use various floor care and combination machines and various floor care methods. When applying for summer jobs as a cleaner, a completed hygiene passport is a great advantage. <\/p>\n
