We are looking for a fixed-term legal intern for the City of Vantaa between 17.02.2025 and 19.09.2025. The start date and total duration of the internship period can be adjusted within the above period according to the wishes of the selected person.<\/p>\n
As a legal trainee, you will be placed in the administrative team of the Urban Culture and Wellbeing sector, but if necessary, work assignments may also be assigned to other sectors. The Urban Culture and Wellbeing sector provides well-being and leisure services to city residents.<\/p>\n
The Urban Culture and Wellbeing sector includes the lifelong learning service area, youth and community services, sports services, and cultural and library services. Your team includes one lawyer, with whom you will work as a partner, and who will familiarize you with your tasks. Your tasks include, among others, reviewing contracts, participating in data protection impact assessments, preparing reports, for example, in appeal matters, and assisting the service areas with various legal issues. The tasks will be specified later based on the applicant's skills and experience.<\/p>\n
We particularly emphasize interest and expertise in data protection legislation. It is an advantage to perform the task if you are interested in public administration and are familiar with administrative and municipal law. However, the most important thing is good cooperation and interaction skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.<\/p>\n
