\nFleet Services employs over ten experts \u2013 mainly project managers and fleet engineers \u2013 who procure new tram and metro fleet and take care of the lifecycle management of existing fleet. We are a technical-commercial team and operate at several external and internal interfaces. <\/p>\n
As a rolling stock engineer trainee, you will support project managers and rolling stock engineers in their work. You will be able to participate in warranty inspections of trams and metros and see maintenance operations up close. You will also participate in various projects, including rolling stock procurement, renovations and rolling stock modifications. <\/p>\n
Your field of work will be tailored to your own interests, but daily tasks may include, among other things, listing and tracking defects, performing various technical analyses, writing project reports, and performing payback calculations. <\/p>\n
We use a variety of O365 programs, Power BI, and metro and tram maintenance management systems (ERP) in our work. <\/p>\n
What kind of intern are we looking for? <\/p>\n
We are looking for a student studying in the field of engineering at a university or university of applied sciences, at least in the second year (120 credits completed). We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and motivated to find new efficient and agile ways of working. The environment and sustainable development are important to us and we expect the same from you. <\/p>\n
You get a good introduction to the job and we work in pairs and teams. So you don't have to be alone, but self-management and organizing your own work is one of our key skills. <\/p>\n
Approximately 80% of % working hours are spent working remotely at our depots in Roihupelto or Vallila, Helsinki. The rest of the time can be done remotely if desired. <\/p>\n
