We are looking for a property maintenance intern to join our property maintenance team for the summer for a variety of property maintenance tasks and support work. Our team of property maintenance electricians and plant workers is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the main metro and City Transport properties. Your tasks include minor repairs, installations, inspections, lamp replacements, drain opening, minor cleaning and picking up supplies from the warehouse. You will also take care of cleaning the yards, especially with regard to bushes and garbage. Your tasks may also include other tasks assigned by the property managers and maintenance manager. In your work, you will get to know the diverse property maintenance tasks and take a deeper look at the city. Every working day is different. <\/p>\n
What kind of intern are we looking for? <\/p>\n
We are primarily looking for a technical student or someone who already has some work experience in similar positions. You must be at least 18 years old. A B driving license is considered an advantage. We also hope that you have a hot work card, an occupational safety card and, for electrical work, an electrical safety card (if you are an electrical student), as well as an EA1 or emergency first aid card. You are also responsible in your work and have a positive attitude.<\/p>\n
Work in urban transport <\/p>\n
We will provide you with a good introduction to your job and you will gain, for example, HVAC work experience in interesting tasks in a unique working environment. You will learn and develop with the support of professionals in the field. Kaupunkiliikenne Oy offers several employee benefits, such as an employee travel ticket, city bike season and lunch benefit. The length of the summer job is a maximum of 3 months. Starting date is the beginning of June or negotiable. <\/p>\n
