Are you interested in a career in the financial sector working on ICT development? The Finnish pension system is an interesting and internationally unique entity. Pensions and their financing are a large part of the national economy. The pension sector has many ICT systems, the development and maintenance of which are the responsibility of professionals in the field. We have almost 80 ICT professionals at Elo.<\/p>\n
We are now looking for new experts at Elo to learn about the earnings-related pension industry and grow into future ICT experts. During this time, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of interesting ICT tasks. The trainee period will start as an hourly job in early 2026 and will continue as a summer job thereafter.<\/p>\n
What's coming up?<\/p>\n
You will develop your ICT skills, especially in the field of technical testing of digital services and building test automation. As a trainee, your growth will be based on your own development and interests - so you can truly influence how quickly you get new tasks and responsibilities. We offer you the opportunity to learn modern testing methods and tools as part of an expert team.<\/p>\n
To whom?<\/p>\n
We are looking for university students, for example in the field of computer science or information technology, who are interested in developing processes and utilizing new technologies. We particularly value experience in the following areas:<\/p>\n
technical software testing and test automation (Robot Framework, Jenkins)
\ndatabase knowledge (e.g. SQL) and utilizing data warehouses in testing
\nWe emphasize above all an enthusiastic, cooperative and proactive attitude. Our working language is Finnish, but you will also need good English skills for the position.<\/p>\n

During the trainee period, you will grow as an ICT expert through an induction program tailored to you. Your designated induction person and the rest of the team will help you develop your skills and take on additional responsibility as you gain experience. The goal is to get you interested in the earnings-related pension sector so that you want to continue working with us in ICT even after the trainee period has ended. <\/p>\n
We flexibly take into account your study schedules so that you can complete your studies as planned even during the trainee period. We have modern workspaces in Tapiola, Espoo and the possibility of partial remote working.<\/p>\n
