At Fintraffic's road traffic control, we ensure safe and smooth traffic on the roads every day of the year - around the clock, with the help of 100 professionals.<\/p>\n
Do you want to be involved in maintaining and developing systems that support smooth, safe and environmentally friendly traffic in Finland? Fintraffic's road traffic control is looking for an enthusiastic and solution-oriented software production manager to be responsible for the maintenance and continuity of road traffic control information systems and software.<\/p>\n
What does the job involve?<\/p>\n
As a Software Production Manager, you are responsible for the operational maintenance of Fintraffic's road traffic control software and information systems.<\/p>\n
In this role, you will take care of systems, manage outsourced software administrators, be responsible for contracts and tenders, and ensure system compliance and operational reliability. You will be responsible for both technical and administrative tasks. You will work as part of the ICT staff, within your own area of responsibility, supporting Fintraffic's entire road traffic control business.<\/p>\n
The position is full-time and permanent and your workplace can be one of our offices, in order: Helsinki, Tampere or Turku. We work flexibly with a hybrid model.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Maintenance and troubleshooting of information systems and software
\nCoordination and supervision of software maintainers
\nTaking over software and information systems during transition to production and ensuring functionality in production
\nEnsuring compliance
\nContract management and tendering, as contract owner
\nMaintenance and development of incident management and change management processes, within the software maintenance area of responsibility
\nCollaboration with ICT software development and other ICT personnel
\nThe task responsibility area is new and you will be able to shape the content of the task together with the current information systems managers.<\/p>\n
Success in this task requires:<\/p>\n
You have a university degree suitable for the position (software engineering or similar)
\nRelevant work experience in software\/information system maintenance
\nExperience in software production management and systems maintenance
\nUnderstanding of public procurement and contract process management
\nKnowledge of the ITIL framework
\nAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and clients
\nKnowledge and importance of information security and compliance
\nGood communication and collaboration skills
\nSolution-focused and responsible approach to work, development-oriented attitude and problem-solving skills
\nFluent in Finnish and English
\nIn addition, expertise in overall architecture, information governance plan (TOS), and public procurement will be beneficial in the task.<\/p>\n
