The year-long AFRY Future Stars career path program is structured flexibly with summer jobs and part-time jobs during the academic year, as well as Training Days that support your development together with other interns. During the training days, you will learn important skills about working in the design and consulting industry and discovering your professional potential. As a Future Stars intern, you will be supported in building your own career path and professional development. During the internship program, you will also receive support from your own tutor.<\/p>\n
The work assignments are tailored individually for the intern, depending on their own situation, skills and interests. During the program, you can also negotiate the possibility of doing your master's or thesis with us.<\/p>\n

AFRY Ark Studio employs 130 people in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Our Vantaa office employs 29 people: architects, building architects and designers. We provide architectural design services for real estate and industrial projects of various types and sizes. The work at AFRY Ark Studio is varied, and we provide architectural design services in a wide range of projects both domestically and internationally. In the future, we will increasingly collaborate with AFRY's Nordic network of architects.<\/p>\n
As a Future Stars intern, you will be able to dive into the world of design in assistant building designer roles. Your main task is to prepare building plans under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. <\/p>\n

Who are we looking for?<\/p>\n
You are a school student in the final stages of your studies (3rd\u20135th year). Ideally, you will have one year of studies left when the program begins.<\/p>\n
You may be the person we are looking for if you have:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Educational background suitable for the position (architecture or building architecture)
\n\u2013 Collaborative, self-initiative and careful working style
\n\u2013 Good problem-solving skills
\n\u2013 Fluent Finnish and English language skills
\n\u2013 A genuine desire to learn and develop yourself as a professional in your field
\n\u2013 It is also considered an advantage if you have previous experience in an architectural office, construction supervision, zoning, sales tasks or construction sites. Previous knowledge of creating visualization images is also an advantage in the role.<\/p>\n
