IT Project Trainee <\/p>\n
to join Normet\u2019s PMO project team in Espoo, on 6th of May – 31st of August 2024. <\/p>\n
Normet PMO team is responsible for implementing IT related projects and its mission is to implement new processes and tools worldwide at Normet. We are looking for a summer trainee to coordinate project-related tasks and be part of the Normet PMO team. <\/p>\n
In this position, you will participate in project related activities, report project\u2019s financial figures and have a great opportunity to learn about different IT-related projects in the mining industry. <\/p>\n
Main responsibilities and tasks:\u202f <\/p>\n
-Responsible for project operations and project coordination (task-based work) in co-operation with senior project management <\/p>\n
-Project documentation (updates, enhancements) <\/p>\n
-Project finance & budget follow-up and reporting <\/p>\n
-Other possible project related work <\/p>\n
We are looking for candidates with the following competencies: <\/p>\n
-Be a Master\/Bachelor degree\u2019s student in information technology or mechanical engineering field (at least two years of studies preferred) <\/p>\n
-Studies or experience from project management are considered as an advantage <\/p>\n
-Good communication skills in Finnish and English <\/p>\n
-Able to work both independently and as part of a team <\/p>\n
Proactive and eager to learn <\/p>\n
-Proactive attitude <\/p>\n
-Experience on basic project management and\/or IT tools (such as MS DevOps, MS Project, MS Excel and other MS Office tools) is preferred <\/p>\n
