We are looking for two production supervisor interns for the Summer Intern, Manufacturing Line Management position. We hope that the individuals we are looking for will be able to start the position in early\/mid-May (according to the contract) and continue at least until the end of August; it will be considered an advantage if you can continue until the end of the year. Applicants are expected to be interested in work management tasks, production and its development. As our summer intern, you will act as a substitute for a line supervisor and work in a variety of ways in cooperation with different stakeholders in production.<\/p>\n

Your daily job description includes supervisory work, delivery supervision, line meetings, process monitoring, and staffing planning in collaboration with other line supervisors, so this position provides the skills to develop in supervisory roles and a good picture of a functioning Lean organization.<\/p>\n
No previous supervisory experience is required for this position, and you will work alongside a permanent supervisor. We will familiarize you with your duties and you will receive support and learning and development opportunities in a friendly work team.<\/p>\n
In your duties, you will also get to learn about production and production processes, and participate in kaizen events that develop production functionality.<\/p>\n
The candidates we are looking for have:<\/p>\n
Technical education suitable for the position: Second or third year student, e.g. at a technical (vocational) university
\nLanguage skills: Fluent in Finnish, English is considered an advantage
\nSkills: Problem-solving skills, ability to act on one's own initiative and independently
\nTeamwork ability and good communication skills
\nProactive way of working
\nBasic IT skills to use email and ERP system; SAP knowledge is an advantage
\nPrevious experience working in a production environment is a plus<\/p>\n
The position is fixed-term for 3-4 months according to the contract. The content of the position can be modified according to the applicant's skills and interests.
