We are looking for new colleagues for production tasks in several locations for the winter season and the upcoming summer! Would you be interested in summer work if our production employees tell us what's in store?<\/p>\n
Where to work and what to do? <\/p>\n
HKScan Rauma unit for food production work. We offer full-time summer jobs in, for example, the cutting room, packing room or slaughterhouse. In practice, working days include various fast-paced line jobs. We mainly work in two shifts, morning and evening on alternating weeks + weekends always free! The best way to get to work is by using your own transport and there are plenty of parking spaces for those who drive. The salary with good benefits is in accordance with SEL's collective agreement.<\/p>\n
In Rauma, we have a total of around 600 employees working in various positions and produce numerous delicacies familiar to home refrigerators, such as Kariniemi chicken Wingfest products!<\/p>\n
Do you need to have prior skills or experience to succeed in summer jobs at HKScan? <\/p>\n
Absolutely not! Summer workers are carefully trained before they start work, so you don't need any previous work experience or training in production work. A cheerful and motivated attitude will get you far. It is beneficial if you have a hygiene passport, but we can also provide training for that if necessary. We can also employ 17-year-olds in the Rauma and Eura production plants! The prerequisite is that you must be able to get by in Finnish.<\/p>\n
Why is summer work at HKScan worth it? <\/p>\n
One really great thing is that all of us employees get to use the benefits of our staff store, which means that in practice we can buy our own HKScan products at a really good price. We also get to have lunch in our own staff canteen conveniently during breaks. All of this is also offered to our summer workers. Employees are offered comprehensive training on the content of the work and support is available from supervisors and the entire work team if needed. It is also important for many that once they come to work for us, they have the opportunity to come back in subsequent summers or build a longer career with us. <\/p>\n

From all walks of life, of all ages and with different backgrounds. We are a good fit for our work team if you are active, self-initiative and a team player in every way. It must be said that our work is physical and we are on our feet day in and day out, so good general fitness is definitely a plus. Our work community is also united by the fact that we are all careful and precise, because we work with food after all. Occupational safety, hygiene and quality are things that everyone here takes care of, regardless of the job. <\/p>\n

When can summer work start and how long will the work continue? <\/p>\n
We are looking for new colleagues for fixed-term seasonal jobs starting in January! However, most summer workers start work in April-May and work until mid-September. However, these can be arranged separately and we also try to take into account our summer workers' own wishes regarding start and end times. <\/p>\n
How can I apply for summer jobs? <\/p>\n
You can easily submit your application to us below. However, it is recommended that you do so by March 31, 2024 at the latest, so that you can secure a summer job in good time. Our recruitment team will then be in touch and will discuss your wishes and expectations for the summer job in more detail. We hope to see you in the summer of 2024!<\/p>\n
