In this category we have summer trainee positions in the fields of Engineering and Technology. The summer trainees will work in different departments such as Research and Development, Software Development, Technical Documentation, Sustainable Fuels & Decarbonization, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment and Field Services. This category also includes opportunities for construction, electrical, mechanical and automation engineering students to spend the summer travelling to our customer sites supporting different projects and instillations.

The specific tasks of each trainee will vary depending on your team, skills, and interest. Your position may include tasks like documentation, technical drawings, maintenance, research, risk management, engine design (electrical and mechanical), engine testing, fuel labs, risk management, quality management, technical support, 3D printing, project support, Project Management, Process Development and much more. To excel in the positions of this category you have:

On-going studies in a relevant field (B.Sc. Or M.Sc. in Environmental, Mechanical, Process, Civil, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Energy Technology, Software Development, Construction or similar)
Working fluency in English, both written and spoken
Good communication and documentation skills
Active, result oriented attitude towards work and the ability to see the big picture
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Systematic, analytical and detail focused way of working
An ability to work independently and effectively on multiple tasks

Depending on the position(s) you are interested in, the following are seen as a benefit – you are not expected to cover all of these but do remember to mention the ones that apply to you in your CV/application:

Additional language skills
Knowledge or experience in project management
Hands-on experience of engines (machining, installation, assembly or through personal interest)
Being tech savvy in one or more of the mentioned: TeamCenter, NX, AutoCAD, C, C++, Java, Angular, Python, Javascript, GitHub, React, Docker, Cloud technologies, SAP, RPA (robotics process development) or any similar
Experience in DevOps tools and systems
Experience in QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, Safety) risk management within manufacturing or service type of industry
Experience in reporting or data analytics

To ensure a fair and equal compensation for all selected trainees, the monthly salary for each trainee is set based on the level of studies and number of acquired study credits. The salary range is 1825€ – 2535€/month depending on the above given factors.
