Our Cryostat Assembly team is now looking for Trainees to support the great growth story of ours. Position in Cryostat Assembly team will support your studies and helps you to gain work experience in the field of high-tech product manufacturing and enhance the possible future career plans of yours. Our team oversees the assembling our measurement systems.
Your tasks will include mechanical assembly of cryostat systems, making of electrical and water connections, vacuum testing components and pumps and the cool-down testing of the cryostat systems – so you will be learning a lot of new things! Therefore, we expect you to have a mindset for high quality, drive, and the ability to learn. You are genuinely proud of what you do, and you do it meticulously.
To succeed in this role, it is required to have some experience in mechanical assembly and testing, but this is also a good option for 1st or 2nd year physics or engineering students. Positive and hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently within a great team takes you a long way. The Cryostat Assembly team is a tight group of passionate professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities, and this is a great opportunity for you to develop yourself as a future professional. Our work language is English on daily basis and position offers you a great opportunity to improve your strong communication skills even further.
During the summer your main responsibilities will be
• Mechanical assembly of cryostat systems
• Making electrical and water connections
• Vacuum testing components and pumps
• Cool-down testing of cryostat systems
