Työn kuvaus:

We search summer trainee to work as an Electrical Engineer intern. You will be part of NPI R&D Engineering team for 3-4 months during May-September 2024 (agreed separately based on your preference). You will be supporting Eaton’s internal R&D Engineering organization with technical requests. The key areas of focus are to support in basic tasks regarding PCBAs for UPS and energy storage products, testing for power converter systems and subsystems, and to support the sales, marketing, manufacturing, and technical support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with the best UPS expert teams in Finland and EMEA as the largest teams in the world. In addition to the internship, there might be a possibility to continue working with Eaton also in the future.

We are looking for a candidate who wants to work in an international environment and adapts quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.

A suitable candidate would have

Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or equivalent
Studied for at least 2 years
Fluency in English is mandatory and basics in Finnish is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD tools
Focus on problem solving with customer-oriented mindset
Skills:
Depending on your background and level of experience you may be assigned tasks such as

Supporting Eaton engineering teams with technical queries or quotations
Designing, documentation and implementing customer required modifications to standard UPS products
Updating documentation
Supporting continuous process improvement activities within the team
