Summer Trainee for Quality & Finishing / Quality Control

Our Quality & Finishing team is now looking for a Trainee to support the great growth story of ours. This position would be in the Quality Control function, and it will help you to gain work experience in the field of high-tech product manufacturing and enhance the possible future career plans of yours. Our Quality & Finishing team is a vital part of the production and Bluefors, since it’s one of their tasks to make sure that our products deliver one of our core values, high quality. Now we want to find an enthusiastic and meticulous person to work in our Quality Control as a Summer Trainee.

Your tasks will include quality controlling of inhouse and outsourced parts and assisting in various departmental tasks. We expect you to have a mindset for high quality, drive, and ability to learn. You would be a perfect fit to the team, if you are at the end of your studies in a related field and if you already have some similar work experience.

To succeed in this role, we hope you have experience or knowledge in industrial quality control, you know how to read technical drawings, you have an eye for details, and you are a fast learner. Positive and hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently within a great team takes you a long way. We expect you to be genuinely proud of what you do, and you do it meticulously.

During the summer your main responsibilities will be
• Quality control of machined items
• Preparing needed items for further processing
• Assisting in departmental tasks

What we expect from you
• Experience in industrial quality control and measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Systematic and careful way of working and commitment to high quality and safety
• Positive service-minded attitude and ability to react to rapidly changing situations
• Good team working skills
• English language skills, both written and spoken

• Technical experience in metal industry
• ERP system experience
• Finnish language skills
• Open-minded and curious attitude
• Hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn
