We welcome you to spend your summer 2024 with the largest Nordic bank and the largest financial services group in Northern Europe! We are looking for Summer Trainees to various roles within Nordea Finland.

As a Summer Trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in the banking industry and be part of creating great customer experiences together with us! By selecting your preferred career areas, you’ll get to work in positions that interest you the most and suit your background the best.

What you could be doing

In total we are hiring hundreds of summer trainees all around Finland. Next summer, you could be working in one of the career areas below:

Administration / Back office / Support

Credit Management and Analysis

Customer service / Banking advisor

Insurance / Pensions

Private banking

Financial Crime Prevention

IT / Technology

The positions we offer are located across Finland. The earliest possible starting date is the 2nd of May, and the summer season lasts until the 30th of September 2024. The minimum working period is three months, but the ability to work for five months is considered beneficial.

Have a proactive and curious mind-set

Are able to work both independently and as a part of a team

Are at least 18 years old

Have fluent skills in Finnish, spoken and written in customer-facing roles

Have good skills in English, spoken and written in other support/IT roles

Swedish language skills are considered as an advantage

Have preferably started your master’s or bachelor’s degree studies in a relevant field

Are able to work for at least three months during summer 2024
